Ray and Nancy Wright of Grand Rapids celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary with a family dinner and
card shower. They were married June 13th, 1964 at Zion Lutheran Church in Waterville. The Wright’s have
four children, Anthony (Rebecca) Wright, Grand Rapids, Janet (Scott) Hurt, New Albany, Julie (Steve)
Jenkins, Galena, and Joyce Wright, Tontogany. The couple also have 11 grandchildren.
Ray and Nancy were the owners of Wright Funeral Home in Grand Rapids from ?1972 – 2006. They served many
members of the community and are fondly thought of by all who have met them. They are founding members
of Hosanna Lutheran Church in Grand Rapids and are both retired. Nancy is a member of the Needle Arts
Guild of Toledo. Ray can be found working on his yard and flowers. They enjoy traveling,?following BGSU
women’s basketball and visiting with family.
