Ralph Dewitt (Hoot) is a longtime resident of Weston. He has been in town since 1939. Dewitt, an avid
carpenter, started Dewitt Builders, a building and remodeling company in 1968. He turned his focus in
1986 to create a new company, Hearthstone Builders, to build log and timber frame homes. Now retired, he
and his significant other of 14 years, Jetty Clapp, enjoy putting on garage sales. (Enoch
