PERRYSBURG - The Wood County Sheriff's Office is seeking a man caught on camera stealing scrap metal in the area in recent weeks.
The agency posted two photos of the man via their Twitter account on Tuesday.
The subject reportedly stole scrap metal in the 15000 block of Five Point Road on Jan. 27 and Feb. 1. During the first incident, he used what appeared to be a dark Ford F-150 truck, and in the second he used a dark SUV-type vehicle.
In the photos, the man is seen wearing a gray and turquoise hooded sweatshirt and appears to have a "rope style" beard.
Those who are able to assist in identifying the subject are asked to contact Det. Sgt. Joe Miller at 419-354-9267.

Multiple departments called to fire
BRADNER - Multiple Wood County fire departments were called to a structure fire just over the county line in Sandusky County Tuesday.
The Bradner, Risingsun, Wayne and Pemberville departments were sent out at 10:50 a.m. to a structure in the area of U.S. 23 near the county line. A tanker shuttle was established between Bradner and the scene to supply water.
Central Joint Fire District and Weston Township Fire were called to cover Montgomery Township for any other calls.
A message left with Bradner fire, who was the principal department at the scene, was not returned at press time.

NORTH BALTIMORE - North Baltimore Village Council has called a special meeting for 9 a.m. Thursday.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the utility billing issue.

BRADNER — Several fire departments have brought a structure fire under control in Sandusky County near the Wood County line.

Units from Bradner, Risingsun, Wayne and Pemberville were sent to the scene about 10:50 Tuesday morning.  Some units have been released from the fire scene.

A tanker shuttle was established between Bradner and the scene to supply water.

Central Joint Fire District and Weston Township Fire were called to cover Montgomery Township for any other calls.

HURON - The Bowling Green State University Board of Trustees moved ahead on two renovation projects during their Friday meeting at the Firelands campus.
The board approved spending $1.6 million on architectural and engineering work for the renovation of Moseley Hall, which will be a new home for science, math and technology on campus. The total cost of the renovation is expected to be just over $23 million.
The trustees also approved moving ahead with the renovation of the College of Health and Human Services in the wake of moving campus health services to the Falcon Health Center.
According to the university: "Along with programs in criminal justice, communication sciences and disorders, nursing and gerontology, the building will house the Food and Nutrition Program and will serve as the future home of Forensics and Laboratory Sciences, in conjunction with the construction of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Information facility on campus."
