INVITATION FOR BIDS RESCUE TOOLS Sealed bids
will
be accepted by the Municipal Administrator, 25 North Second Street,
City of Waterville, Ohio 43566 until 2:00 pm E.D.T., April 23, 2014 for a
contract to provide rescue tools.
Specifications are on file at
the office of the Municipal Administrator located at 25 North Second
Street, and can be picked up from same at no charge.
Each bid must
contain the full name and address of the bidder and the amount of
compensation for which it will contract with the City of Waterville.
The bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier’s check or a bid
bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10 %) of the total bid amount payable
to the City of Waterville as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, a
contract will be entered into between the successful bidder and the
City.
Bids received after the scheduled bid opening date and time or
not accompanied by a satisfactory check will neither be read or
considered.
Bids should be submitted on the appropriate bid form.
Each
bid shall be signed and enclosed in a sealed envelope marked “RESCUE
TOOLS” and addressed to the Municipal Administrator, City of Waterville.
Bidders shall submit with their Bid the affidavit required under Ohio
Revised Code Section 5719.042 that the bidder was not charged with any
delinquent personal property taxes in Lucas County, Ohio.
The
successful bidder will be required to submit a Certificates of Insurance
and Affidavit for compliance with ORC Section 3517.13 prior to contract
execution.
The City Of Waterville reserves the right to reject any
and all bids, to waive any irregularities in any bid, and to accept any
bid that is deemed to be in the most favorable to the City.
The City
also reserves the right to add or subtract from the quantities shown in
