AKRON, Ohio (AP) — A brewery in northeastern Ohio has come away with a big prize at the New York
International Beer Competition.
Thirsty Dog Brewing Co. of Akron was named "USA Brewery of the Year" at the event.
It also received three individual awards for its beers.

reports that almost 400 beers and ciders from about 20 countries were entered in the event.
Winners were announced this past week.
Listermann Brewing Co. in Cincinnati won two awards for its beers.
