TIFFIN — Bowling Green’s softball team is playing well at the right time. The Bobcats — who have just four regular-season wins — earned a berth in a Division I district championship game Tuesday. Hanna Williford pitched a six-hitter and struck out nine to lead BG to a 7-1 win over Fremont Ross in a district semifinal at Tiffin University. The Bobcats had nine hits and never trailed or were tied again after taking a 1-0 lead in the second inning. Read more... Add new comment
