I’ve always loved creating things. Even from a young age, I wanted to learn, do, and see everything, to get my hands on it and question why it worked. What was its purpose? How could I make my own version of it?

Families: visit the Wood County District Public Library’s new Interactive Learning Room! WCDPL’s Interactive Learning Room for the month of March is set up for reading and hands-on discovery with the five senses. Kids can investigate displays, toys, games, and books to help them explore the five senses, centered around the book Fry Bread: A Native American Family Story by Kevin Noble Maillard and Juana Martinez-Neal.

Families, students, teachers, and children’s book lovers are invited to the Wood County District Public Library’s meet the author and illustrator program with award-winning author and illustrator of “Fry Bread: A Native American Family Story,” Kevin Noble Maillard and Juana Martinez-Neal.

Families may visit the Wood County District Public Library’s new interactive learning room, which is set up for reading and hands-on discovery with magnets. Kids can investigate displays, toys, games and books.

The Wood County District Public Library is celebrating another book birthday.

Recently I heard someone say, “I want a real book, not one of those electronic things. Things are changing too much.”

Take an evening break and enjoy virtuoso performances from the Bowling Green State University College of Musical Arts students at the library.

Students can explore the characteristics and strengths between two animals this year as 1BookBG returns for all elementary students in Bowling Green.
