NORTH BALTIMORE — North Baltimore is set to play the football season in a new stadium and are now members of the Northwest Central Conference after going 2-8 last season while not playing in a conference.

MILLBURY — At Lake, key lettermen returning are offensive linemen Jason Ahumada and Cody Cappalletty and linebacker Brett Bomyea, an honorable mention all-league selection last year.

PERRYSBURG — Perrysburg football looks to build on a very successful 2022 campaign in the fall of 2023 as the reigning Northern Lake Conference champions.

TONTOGANY — In coach Josh Lindke’s second year at the helm, Otsego has a 60-man roster, but more importantly the Knights return everyone from their skilled positions.

ROSSFORD — Rossford football returns 15 lettermen from a team that finished 4-6 overall and 3-4 in the Northern Buckeye Conference last year.

MILLBURY — There is a new man in charge of Lake football, but he is a familiar face.

This fall, there will be a new look in high school sports, with a newly realigned Northern Lakes League, Northern Buckeye Conference, and Blanchard Valley Conference.

TOLEDO — Lakota senior Jayson Bennington was named the Tim Berta Courage Award and Scholarship recipient by the National Football Foundation’s Wistert Chapter at its awards dinner on Monday, March 20 at the Glass City Center.

PERRYSBURG — Perrysburg jumped to a 24-0 halftime lead, and then held on to defeat Delaware Olentangy Berlin, 24-8, at Steinecker Stadium Friday.
