Haskins post office temporarily closes

HASKINS — United States Postal Service operations at the Haskins post office, 100 N. Findlay Road, will be suspended as of close of business day Saturday, according to a Friday press release by the USPS.

The suspension is due to the lease agreement ending and USPS is working on opening a modular unit in Haskins. The opening date has not been determined.

In the interim, P.O. box customers can pick up their mail at the Bowling Green Post Office, 111 W. Washington St. Hours of operation for the Bowling Green post office are Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The lobby is open 24 hours for P.O. box access.
