A warrant has been issued for a North Baltimore man who has been indicted for trafficking drugs.
A Wood County grand jury indicted Jacob Christopher Bear, 27, on Wednesday for aggravated trafficking in drugs and aggravated possession of drugs, both second-degree felonies; two counts aggravated trafficking in drugs and two counts possession of drugs, all third-degree felonies; aggravating trafficking in drugs, a fourth-degree felony; and aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.
On Jan. 27, 2022, he was allegedly found in possession of and prepared for distribution more than the bulk amount of methamphetamine. On Feb. 1, 2022, he was allegedly found in possession of and prepared for distribution more than the bulk amount of methamphetamine. On May 12, 2022, he was found in possession of and allegedly prepared for distribution less than the bulk amount of methamphetamine. On Dec. 7 he was found in possession of and allegedly preparing for distribution more than five times the bulk amount of methamphetamine.
A warrant was issued for his arrest.
Also indicted were:
• Zane C. Rose, 37, North Baltimore, for attempted assault and harassment of a bodily substance, both fifth-degree felonies. On Feb. 20 in the 700 block of Quarry Road in North Baltimore, he attempted to cause harm to a North Baltimore police officer and the allegedly spit into the face and mouth of the officer while at the jail.
• Lastar Destiny Mack, 26, Buffalo, New York, and Maiya La’Cole Gonzalez, 26, Lakeland, Florida, for possessing criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony, and receiving stolen property, a fourth-degree felony.
On March 22 on Interstate 75 in Rossford, an officer began following a vehicle after the driver acted suspiciously and then stopped the car for following too closely. When questioned, a woman said they were going to Michigan and the other said they were coming from Michigan. A probable cause search of the vehicle uncovered tote and grocery bags full of miscellaneous merchandise, all with tags wrapped with aluminum foil. Aluminum foil is often used to defeat anti-theft security tags from going off when passing the security point when exiting a store. There were no receipts in the vehicle. The amount of merchandise totaled $22,372.
• Michael Phillip Winningham, 26, Cincinnati, for money laundering, a third-degree felony. On April 11, he allegedly conducted a transaction using corrupt currency. If found guilty, he may have to forfeit $42,000 in cash and two iPhones.
• Leander Lamar Williams, 56, Fort Wayne, Indiana, for improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, a fifth-degree felony, and operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a first-degree misdemeanor. On March 25, Williams was stopped for a turn signal violation on I-75 at the U.S. 20 exit. His eyes were bloodshot and glassy, and he had a loaded Ruger 9mm pistol in the driver’s door pocket. He refused a breath sample and was taken to jail.
• Jeremiah Jacob Blake-Przydzial, 21, Brighton, Michigan, and Elijuh Michael Weaver, 23, Eastpointe, Michigan, were indicted on drug charges.
After a pursuit in which their vehicle crashed into another car, both allegedly fled on foot and were taken into custody shortly after a pursuit. A probable cause search of the vehicle indicated illegal narcotics and a loaded firearm.
Blake-Przydzial was indicted for aggravating trafficking in drugs and aggravated possession of drugs, both third-degree injuries; and trafficking in marijuana and possession of marijuana, both second-degree felonies. On Feb. 24, he allegedly was found in possession of 12,000 grams of hashish and 31,751 grams of cannabis with the intent to distribute.
Weaver was indicted for failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, aggravated trafficking in drugs and aggravated possession of drugs, all third-degree felonies; improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony; and aggravated trafficking in marijuana and aggravated possession of drugs, both second-degree felonies. On Feb. 24 on I-75 near milepost 175, Weaver allegedly fled a police officer after receiving a signal to stop, and fled when pulled over. He was reportedly in possession 12,000 grams of hashish, 10.5 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 31,751 grams of cannabis. He was indicted in 2021 in Michigan for carrying a concealed weapon.
• Ruamone Searcy, 23, Toledo, for having weapons while under disability, a third-degree felony. On March 12, he was allegedly found in possession of a firearm after being convicted of a felony in Lucas County in 2019.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
• Jovan Cortez Kyles, 38, Toledo, for identity fraud, a third-degree felony. On Dec. 2, he alleged used the personal identification of another man with the intent to hold himself out to be that man.
• Darryl Tyrone Elston Jr., 36, Toledo, for aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony. On Jan. 29, he allegedly possessed methamphetamine in an amount that exceeded the bulk amount.
• Whitney Anne Trautman, 32, with a confidential address, for aggravated assault, a fourth-degree felony. On Jan. 25 in the 300 block of North Summit Street in Bowling Green, she allegedly was engaged in an argument and stabbed a man in the shoulder. An ambulance took the victim to the hospital where he got eight stitches.
A warrant has been issued for her arrest.
