BG woman: School story headline ‘wildly misleading’

To the Editor:

The Sentinel-Tribune front page headline from Feb. 1 (BG parents want religious instruction) is wildly misleading.

At the Jan. 23 Bowling Green City Schools Board of Education meeting, a few people (six) spoke in favor of release time for religious instruction in the public schools. Two of them were paid to be there.

Your headline makes it seem that all BG parents want to mix religion with teaching in the public schools. That is decidedly not true.
