Harding has worked with dogs for the past 20 years, starting out at Pups-N-People, which is a dog training and daycare business. She worked in the daycare and assisted with training classes. From there, she began working at the Toledo Area Humane Society where she was an animal care tech and was promoted to shelter manager. She was at the humane society from 2007-14.

Harding then took a position at Lucas County Canine Care and Control from 2014-19. She was the shelter manager there as well and transfer coordinator where she would work with local rescues to transfer dogs from LCCC care to the rescue agency.

In October 2019, Harding became a dispatcher for the Maumee Police Department. In November 2021 she accepted the dog warden position for Wood County.
