New Sentinel website

The Sentinel-Tribune has a new website and a new e-edition platform beginning today.

It is at the same web address, sent-trib.com.

For the short term, as we transition through this process, there will be no log-in required on the new site.

Celebrate Hispanic heritage

Celebrate Hispanic heritage with La Conexión on Oct. 1 from 6 p.m.-midnight at the Junior Fair Building, located at the Wood County Fairgrounds, 13800 West Poe Road.

Rotarians hear about tech, engineering at BGSU

The Bowling Green Rotary Club guest speaker on Thursday will be Jennie Gallimore, PH.D., dean of the College of Technology, Architecture and Applied Engineering at BGSU. She will provide us with an update on the College. The club meets at noon on Thursday at Bowling Green Country Club.

Emergency Essential Fairs is Saturday

An Emergency Essentials Fair is set for Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1033 Conneaut Ave.

Some of the information presented will be on a 72-hour kit, safe water storage, food preservation, sprouting, nutrition fundamentals, fire safety and CPR compression.

There will also be information booths, a children’s craft area and door prizes.

The presenters include American Red Cross, HAM radio operators, BG Christian Food Pantry, WEMA, Bowling Green Police Division, Ohio State Highway Patrol, Bowling Green Fire Division, Wood County Hospital, Better Business Bureau and Basic Legal Equality.

Karaoke at VFW post in BG

Come for karaoke on Saturday from 8 p.m.-midnight at VFW Post 1148, 719 S. Main St.

This is open to the public and food will be available.

Correction

Charges against BGSU’s Krinn corrected

In a May story on the verdicts against two Bowling Green State University students accused in a hazing death, the charges against Jacob Krinn were incorrect.

Krinn, of Delaware, was found guilty of obstructing official business, a second-degree misdemeanor; hazing, a fourth-degree misdemeanor; and failure to comply with underage alcohol laws, an unclassified misdemeanor.
