Perrysburg hosts
all-star football game
PERRYSBURG — The annual Northwest Ohio Regional All-Star Football Game is July 18 at Steinecker Stadium.

Eighteen players from Wood County high schools were selected for the game.
Playing for the Black are: Luke Adams, Kadin Llewellyn and Matt Mesker of Perrysburg; Noah Asmus and
Aaron Kolbe of Rossford; Cam Carsey and Trent Wisecup of Bowling Green; Michael Flipse, Michael Glaze
and Jacob Rahe of Eastwood, and Logan Hosley and Jon Wiehl of Otsego.
Playing for the Gold are: Aaron Arnold, Sawyer Haines and Justin Krouse of Elmwood; Kyle Corbitt and Luke
Laviolette of Northwood, and Nick Walsh of Lake.
The head coaches are retired Rossford coach Tom Ferguson and current Cardinal Stritch head Brian Wical.

Kickoff is 7 p.m.
Ohio State University co-defensive coordinator Chris Ash will speak to the players before practice July
15 at 6:30 p.m.
Lake seeking
cross country coach
MILLBURY — Lake High School is accepting applications for a head varsity cross country coach.
Applicants should download an application form from the school web site,
www.lakeschools.org/coaching-applications.
Application forms can be found under athletic department and emailed with resume and qualifications to
athletics director Dave Shaffer, [email protected].
Tucker selected
for All-American Games
Brandon Tucker of Bowling Green has been selected to play for the Great Lakes team in the 11U USSSA
All-American Baseball Games.
The games are Aug. 1-4 at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Kissimmee, Florida.
The Great Lakes team consists of 12 players from Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois and eastern
Michigan.
Tucker played in the T-Ball and Pee Wee divisions of BG youth baseball. He is playing for the Southeast
Michigan Pirates this summer.
