Man dies, Ohio officer grazed in head in shootout

HAMILTON, Ohio (AP) — Police in southwestern Ohio say an
18-year-old was killed and an officer was grazed in the head by a bullet
during a shootout between the two.
The shootout happened in a residential neighborhood of Hamilton Saturday morning.
Police say 44-year-old officer Chad Stafford was released from the University of Cincinnati Medical
Center.
They identified the man killed as 18-year-old Brandon Keeler.
One
resident said he woke up to the sound of gunfire and saw a Hamilton
police officer exchanging shots with a man firing a shotgun.
Authorities in Hamilton say they were called to the neighborhood after receiving calls about a man
shooting a gun into the air.
