Lakota to discuss calamity days alternative
KANSAS – The Lakota Board of Education will meet in special session Friday to adopt a resolution for a
calamity alternative make-up plan.
The meeting is set for 7 a.m. in the board room, 5200 County Road 13.
Otsego sets special meeting
TONTOGANY – Otsego Local Schools will
hold a special meeting of their board of education Jan. 28 at 6 p.m. to
conduct board business.
Eastwood Band plans fundraiser at Bob Evans
The
Eastwood Band is planning a community fundraiser for Jan. 28 from 7
a.m. to 9 p.m. at Bob Evans, 1726 W. Wooster St., Bowling Green.
The restaurant will donate 15 percent of sales for dine-in or carryout sales.

Hospital auxiliary takes scholarship applications
FOSTORIA
– The ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital Auxiliary is accepting
applications for their annual scholarship program. Area high school
seniors and college students pursuing a career in a healthcare-related
field are encouraged to apply.
Applications are available in local
schools through the high school guidance counselor, at the ProMedica
Fostoria Community Hospital welcome desk/switchboard inside entrance 1,
and online at www.promedica.org/givefostoria.
Completed applications should be returned no later than Feb. 28, to Cindy Reinhard, 470 Linwood Ave.,
Fostoria, Ohio 44830.
