Lt. Jay Harden, with the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, will be retiring this month after 25 years with
the sheriff’s office where he is in charge of the civil division which handles warrants, prisoner
transport and court paperwork. Harden also spent 13 years with the U.S. Marine Corps. A native of
Fostoria, Harden and his wife, Cindi, have three children and nine grandchildren.
