Johnson named to O’Brien watch list
Bowling Green’s Matt Johnson was one of 39 players named to the watch list for the Davey O’Brien Award,
presented annually to the best quarterback in the country.
The redshirt junior threw for 3,467 yards and 25 touchdowns last season when BG was 10-4 overall and won
the Mid-American Conference title.
BG opens the season Aug. 29 at Western Kentucky.
