Our beloved Ada Sophia (Fruth) Wilson passed away on July 22, 2009 at First Community Village in
Columbus, Ohio, just shy of her 102nd birthday.
Ada was born on the family farm in Alvada, Ohio on September 6, 1907 to William and Mary Fruth.
She is predeceased by her parents, brothers, Marion, Gilbert, Orlo, Howard, Truman, Theodore and Ernst,
and sisters, Nellie and Cordell.
She married Harold Wilson on May 5, 1929, and had a son, Duane, both who predeceased her.
She retired from North American Rockwell.
Ada was a warm and funny woman who was devoted to her family and loved to sew.
She was a longtime member of Ascension Lutheran Church.
Ada is survived by her brother, Delbert (Marie) Fruth; sister-in-law Bernadine Fruth; nieces and nephews,
Milford (Bernadine) Smith, Lynn (Wayne) St. Clair, Louan (Rick) Whetsel, Bill (Sue) Fruth, Truline
(Larry) Crow, Dan Fruth and Kay (Jack) Graf Jr.; and several great-nieces and great-nephews, including
Tammy (Tony) Seipel and Libby Graf, also of Columbus.
A service of memory will be held on August 2, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. at the chapel at First Community
Village, 1802 Riverside Drive, Columbus, Ohio.
Family has entrusted Schoedinger Northwest Chapel with funeral arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
