The project includes site excavation, grading and development; site utility construction and extension;
athletic field development, sport venue areas, bleacher seating; construction of support buildings,
pavements, exterior lighting, landscaping; and other related work required for completion of the
project.
Bid documents may be examined at the Office of the Treasurer, Rossford Exempted Village School District,
the Mansfield and Columbus (Powell) offices of MKC Associates, Inc., the Builders Exchange of Central
Ohio, the Cleveland Builders Exchange and the Builders Exchange of Toledo. Bid documents may be obtained
from Toledo Blue Print, 6964 McNerney Road, Northwood, Ohio 43619 (Phone 419-661-9841), upon placing a
deposit in the amount of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per set payable to the Rossford Exempted Village
School District. No more than three sets will be provided on a refundable basis to a potential bidder.
Upon receipt of a request accompanied by the deposit amount described above and separate payment of
shipping and handling charges, Toledo Blue Print will forward copies of the Bid Documents to the
potential bidder. Deposits are refundable only if a bonafide bid is submitted and documents are returned
in good condition to the Mansfield office of the Architect, shipping charges prepaid, within thirty (30)
days of the date bids are received. Additional document sets may be obtained upon payment of the cost of
reproduction and shipping by the person requesting the documents. Shipping and handling charges for each
set are the responsibility of the potential bidder and are in addition to the required deposit or
reproduction costs.
All proposals shall be made in conformity with the Ohio Revised Code on blank forms furnished with the
Bid Documents and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope and addressed to the Office of the Treasurer,
Rossford Exempted Village School District, 601 Superior Street, Rossford, Ohio 43460-1247 and clearly
marked on the outside:

Each proposal shall be accompanied by the STATE FORM OF COMBINATION BIDDING AND CONTRACT BOND in the sum
of 100% of the amount of the bid or a certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid, or a 10% Bid Bond
submitted on AIA Document A310. Bidders not using the Combination Bidding and Contract Bond must obtain
a 100% Payment and Performance Bond prior to the award of a contract if they are the successful bidder.
Bond amount is to include any add alternates.
Attention is called to the Special Requirements relative to Hours of Employment, and Rules and
Regulations on Equal Employment Opportunity. This project is exempt from prevailing wage rate
requirements.
A PRE-BID MEETING will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 2:00 pm, local time, to receive any
questions pertaining to the project. The meeting will be held at the shelter house located on the
project site. Enter the site immediately north of the District Transportation Department, 28546 Lime
City Road, Perrysburg, Ohio.
No Bidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) days after the time of the bid opening. The Board of
Education reserves the right to reject each and every bid and to waive informalities, irregularities,
and errors in the bidding to the extent permitted by law, including the right to extend the date and
time for receipt of bids; to reject any or all bids, and to conduct such investigation as necessary to
determine the responsibility of a bidder.
