United Way in Wood County has named Jill Kegler, president of Kellermeyer Company, as campaign chair for
2009.
Kegler will work closely with the campaign cabinet, volunteers, and United Way staff to plan, promote,
and lead a successful Wood County campaign.
She is a longtime United Way supporter and is enthusiastic about the new challenge.
"I am excited to serve as the Wood County campaign chair for 2009," Kegler said.
"Especially in today’s economic climate, the services of United Way along with their LIVE UNITED
movement to give, advocate, and volunteer, are more important than ever for the communities where we
work and reside."
Joining Kegler on the 2009 campaign trail are her cabinet members: Theresa Ginter, HR On Demand; Carrie
Arnold, Kellermeyer Company; Paul Dobson, Wood County Prosecuting Attorney’s office; and Duane Carey,
Impact Products.
"We are delighted to have Jill on board this year," said Michael George, director of United Way
in Wood County. "We didn’t have a Wood County campaign chair in 2008, so I’m really looking forward
to the local focus Jill will bring."
The 2009 United Way campaign will not kick off until August. Visit www.unitedwaywoodcounty.org for more
information.
