Suspect in Perrysburg robbery turns self in

PERRYSBURG – A Michigan man suspected of robbing a Huntington National Bank branch is in custody.
According to the Perrysburg Police Division, Joshua A. Copenhaver, 33, of Michigan, was arrested for the
Nov. 10 robbery of the Three Meadows branch Tuesday evening.
An investigator from Perrysburg police accompanied by an FBI special agent, took Copenhaver into custody
last night after he turned himself in to the U.S. Marshals Service in Detroit.
Copenhaver was booked at the Wood County Justice Center.
He is being held on a $100,000 bond.
Lt. David Weaver, spokesperson for the division, said this morning that a dye pack exploded on materials
given to the suspect after the robbery.
That piece of evidence was abandoned outside the bank by the suspect and recovered by police.
