Perrysburg man indicted for rape

A Perrysburg man has been indicted for five counts of alleged rape.

A Wood County grand jury on Wednesday indicted Randall Meyers, 54, for rape. All five counts are first-degree felonies.

From Aug. 20, 2018, through May 28, 2021, Meyers allegedly engaged in sexual conduct five times with the same person by purposely compelling her to submit by force or threat of force.

An indictment is only a charge and is not evidence of guilt.
