A Toledo woman has been indicted for allegedly stabbing a Northwood woman.

A Wood County grand jury on Aug. 16 indicted Brooke K. Lutz, 34, for aggravated burglary, a first-degree felony; felonious assault, a second-degree felony; and disrupting public services, a fourth-degree felony.

On July 26, officers responded to East Florence Avenue in Northwood for a reported stabbing. The alleged victim had been stabbed in the hand and both of her feet.

She told officers Lutz entered her trailer without permission and immediately began to assault her. She said Lutz hit the phone out of her hand while she called 911 then dragged her by her hair outside.

Lutz then allegedly attempted to slam the woman’s head on the concrete and when she couldn’t do that, produced a knife and stabbed the woman in her raised foot. The alleged victim told police when she attempted to hit the knife out of Lutz’s hand, she was stabbed in the right hand.

Lutz then reportedly fled the scene with the knife.

She was arrested and posted a $50,000 bond on Aug. 16.

A no contact order is in place.
