BG Chamber has legislative update with government officials

The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Project Team announces their Annual Legislative Update for 2023.

The program will take place on Friday, Aug. 25 at Wood County Job, and Family Services, located at 1928 E. Gypsy Lane Road in the multi-purpose room. Doors will open at 7:30 a.m. for networking with the program beginning at 8 a.m. Coffee and light morning refreshments will be provided.

The program will open with updates on trending topics from elected officials U.S. Rep. Bob Latta, R-Bowling Green, and Ohio Rep. Haraz Ghanbari, R-Perrysburg, followed by questions submitted by constituents through the chamber. Chancellor Randy Gardner will also provide an update from the Ohio Department of Higher Education that will then conclude with a conversation with attendees.

Submit questions for the panel online with registration prior to Aug. 17. Reservations for the event are to be submitted no later than Aug. 18 by 5 p.m. Register and submit questions on the chamber website at bgchamber.net/rsvp.

The program will be facilitated by Rebecca O’Hare, the chamber’s receptionist. O’Hare graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s degree in political science and sociology. She has a passion for local government and has been an active member of the Chamber’s Governmental Affairs Project Team since her start with the organization in early 2022.
