WALBRIDGE — Random Acts has been a regular after-church bubble tea and milkshake stop for the Desiree’ Wilkins family for several years now.
This month during their after-church visit, Patrick Wilkins was surprised with the Random Acts Unsung Hero Scholarship.
Wilkins is a 2023 graduate of Lake High School. During his high school career, he was involved in honors band, honors choir, Jet Set, Spanish club, French club, drama club, and track and field. He was also honored this school year with the Leonard Bernstein Music award for creativity and dedication in the choir department.
One of his greatest loves while at school was his involvement in their theatrical performances. He was in every play and musical from ninth grade through his senior year. His most recent production was “The Wizard of Oz” where he played the Cowardly Lion.
In his senior year he was also honored with being homecoming king.
Wilins plans on pursuing an apprenticeship and a career in the electrical field.
