Ribbon cutting for Eden Rose Inspirations in downtown BG

The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting for Eden Rose Inspirations in at 328 S. Main St. on May 23 at 4 p.m.

The event will welcome owner Heather Borsos to the Bowling Green business community. The ribbon cutting will open with congratulatory words from chamber Director Mary Hinkelman and Mayor Mike Aspacher, as well as Downtown BG SID Director Tony Vetter. An open house will follow until 8 p.m.

Heather Borsos has been in business since August 2020 offering luxury and everyday floral designs. Eden Rose Inspirations is a full-service florist for weddings, funerals and events, and will also offer a small variety of miscellaneous items. They understand that flowers have a way of bringing comfort and/or joy to someone.

“Flowers are woven throughout the tapestry of one’s life. They appear during some of our most memorable life events such as births, celebrations, weddings and final goodbyes,” Borsos said. “Flowers not only bring happiness but are symbolic of love, gratitude and respect. It is our hope that years later when you are met with the sight or smell of flowers that were a part of our creation designed for you — it will take you back to that special day, filling your heart with love and bringing a smile to your face. It is an honor to serve others intertwining flowers throughout the beautiful tapestry of their lives; weaving the blanket to wrap them in love.”

Boros is also passionate about bringing comfort to families who have experienced the loss of a child. She donates casket sprays for children in Wood County who have passed before the age of 18 or have yet to graduate from high school.
