Students of the Month

Bowling Green High School

The Bowling Green Exchange Club and Bowling Green High School have announced that Magdalena Meszaros is the April Student of the Month.

She is the daughter of Andrew and Susan Meszaros.

Meszaros’ school honors and activities include membership in the National Honors Society and the French Honors Society. She is very active in BGHS clubs and organizations such as the musical, StuCrew, Art History Club, and Off the Hook crochet club where she serves as president. She is also involved in OMEA Honors Orchestra and was featured in the FOCUS adjudicated regional art show.

The senior also participated in the BGHS girls tennis team for two seasons.

Outside of school, she has volunteered at St. Thomas More, St. Aloysius, Bowling Green Pregnancy Center and the Black Swamp Arts Festival. She is also an employee at the Bowling Green City Pool.

Meszaros has a 4.29 gpa and has a composite ACT score of 29.

After high school, she plans to attend Bowling Green State University and study architecture.

North Baltimore High School

Miles Helbling was awarded Student of the Month for April by the North Baltimore Schools staff.

As a squad leader in the marching band and vice president of Tri-M, Helbling has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence. Additionally, her involvement in the drama club highlights her creative talents and passion for the arts.

After graduation, she is planning on attending Ohio State University to study psychology.

Eastwood High School

Eastwood High School has selected Natalie Redfern as the April Student of the Month.

The senior in involved in YMCA and Eastwood gymnastics (captain), National Honor Society, Tri-M music honor society, junior executive council (vice president), international club and Encore a capella singing group.

She volunteers at the Wood County Humane Society and Luckey Vacation Bible School.

She is an ice cream attendant at Beeker’s in Pemberville.

Redfern plans to attend Ohio State University to major in animal sciences/pre-vet and then attend veterinary school.
