Senior center offers events, lunch and dinner

The following events will take place next week at the Wood County Senior Center.

Meals

Lunch menu: Monday country fried steak or cabbage roll, Tuesday spaghetti and meatballs or honey mustard chicken breast, Wednesday beef and bean chili or ham and potato soup, Thursday chicken wings or smoked sausage, Friday roast beef or pecan crusted tilapia.

Dinner menu: Tuesday barbecue pork chop, Wednesday calico beans, Thursday teriyaki chicken

*Dinner reservations must be made by 2 p.m. the day you wish to attend.

Advanced planning

Hora de Charla: Would you like to practice, improve and exercise Spanish speaking skills with others? An introductory to Spanish course to learn basic conversational expressions and vocabulary will be held April 14 from 10 a.m.-noon at the Wood County Senior Center. Facilitated by Nicholai Barak, World Language Education major, BGSU. To register, contact the Program Department by calling 419-353-5661 or email [email protected].

No person over 60 shall be denied nutrition services because of failure to contribute all or part of the cost. Participants shall determine for themselves what they are able to contribute.
