PERRYSBURG — Volunteers are needed for the annual spring cleanup of city parks.

Each year, volunteers take part in the Great American Cleanup by picking up litter at various locations. This year, the city is teaming up with Partners for Clean Streams to clean four parks. Volunteers are needed at these locations on the following dates and times:

April 22 (Earth Day), Woodlands and Three Meadows Parks, 9-11 a.m.

April 30, Orleans and Rivercrest Parks, 2:30-4:30 p.m.

Gloves, tools, safety vests, and trash bags will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to wear long pants, weather appropriate clothing, as well as comfortable and closed-toed shoes.

Volunteers are welcome to show up at any of the locations on the day of the cleanup, but registration is encouraged. Those interested can sign up and complete the liability form beforehand at https://bit.ly/PCSCleanupSignup. Anyone with questions can contact Lauren Rush at [email protected] or 419-872-8074.
