Latta ranked among most effective lawmakers in Congress

WASHINGTON, D.C. – This week, U.S. Rep. Bob Latta. R-Bowling Green, was ranked among the most effective lawmakers in Congress according to the Center for Effective Lawmaking.

CEL uses 15 different indicators to form a Legislative Effectiveness Score that ranks Members of Congress. According to CEL, Latta ranked in the top 15% of effective House Republicans in the 117th Congress (29th out of 222).

Throughout his congressional tenure, Latta has had 32 bills and provisions signed into law.

“Advancing commonsense legislation to tackle pressing issues our communities face will always remain my top focus in Congress,” Latta said. “Whether it’s through successful legislative efforts I’ve led that expanded resources for our veterans, increased broadband Internet access for rural communities, held bad actors accountable for contributing to the opioid crisis, and protected Ohio residents’ drinking water from harmful toxins, I’m committed to building upon these accomplishments and working toward more solutions that make life better for communities in Ohio and across America.”
