Citations Jan. 1:

Police responded to the 100 block of Manville Avenue for a report of a mirror that was ripped off a vehicle and to a business in the 900 block of South Main Street on a report that someone had rearranged the furniture.

A burglary was reported in the 200 block of Manville Avenue.

Police took reports of a dog that was tied up all day in the 300 block of Parkview Drive; and of a theft with a loss of $413 in the 1100 block of South Main Street.

After a traffic stop, Kayla Hurst, 27, Knoxville, Tennessee, was arrested for forgery, driving without a license and bad checks. She was taken to jail. Her passenger, Whitney Geames, also of Knoxville, was cited for possession of marijuana.

Jacob Ditch, 36, BG, was cited at 8:45 a.m. for disorderly conduct/intoxicated-unable to care for self. He was arrested at 10:30 p.m. for open container and disorderly conduct/intoxicated-unable to care for self and was taken to jail.
