Barbara J. Knepper, 81, of Perrysburg, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Otterbein SeniorLife in Pemberville, OH. She was born on May 18, 1941 in Wayne, Ohio to David L. and Ruby P. (Sidle) Gallagher. Barb married David R. Knepper on October 7, 1996 at the Pondarosa Ranch on Lake Tahoe. They have celebrated 26 years of marriage together.
Barb was a homemaker and farm wife. She enjoyed the outdoors and was often found outside mowing the lawn. She also enjoyed collecting and riding tractors as well as traveling and was an avid Barbie Doll collector. Other interests included taking a drive with her husband Dave in their convertible Mustang. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband: David R. Knepper; children: Debra Brown, Kathy (Scott) Borders, and David Siek. Step-children; Sally Jechura, Cynthia (Mike) Langenderfer, and Rebecca Wagener. Sisters; Eleanor (Barney) Barnes, Evelyn Hughes, Sally (Jack) Robinson, Judy ( David) Harman, and Diana (Jimmy) Burns. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, step-
grandchildren, and great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Opal McIntosh, Joyce Carpenter, Teresa Gallagher and brother, Joseph Gallagher.
Family and friends will be received from 2-7 p.m., on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at the Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home, 110 W. Main Street, Luckey, OH. A funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11 a.m., on Thursday, January 26, 2023. There will be additional visitation from 10 a.m., until time of service. Officiating will be, Pr. Mike Hughes. Interment will be in Troy Township Cemetery, Luckey. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to: Ashanti Hospice.
