Senior center offers events, lunch and dinner

The following events will take place next week through the Wood County Committee on Aging/Wood County Senior Center.

Lunch menu: Monday

Chipped beef or creamed chicken Tuesday, calico beans or turkey, Wednesday goulash or almandine pollock, Thursday bratwurst with shredded cheese or chicken wings, Friday meatloaf or grilled chicken breast.

Dinner Menu: Tuesday hot dog, Wednesday chicken supreme, Thursday spaghetti and meatsauce.

*Dinner reservations must be made by 2 p.m. the day you wish to attend.

Advanced planning

A Calligraphy Ornament Class will be held Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. Using special pens, use calligraphy skills to make personalized ornaments. Each participant will create four ornaments. Class size is limited to 15 and calligraphy is not a prerequisite. Cost is $15 and all supplies and instructions will be provided. Registration required by calling programs at 419-353-5661.

No person over 60 shall be denied nutrition services because of failure to contribute all or part of the cost. Participants shall determine for themselves what they are able to contribute. A $2 suggested donation is appreciated for home delivered meals. All payments can be mailed to: Wood County Senior Center, 140 S. Grove St., Bowling Green, OH 43402.
