“Roll Along”

Balcony Seats with Huntington & American Warming and Ventilation

The online auction can be previewed at https://bid.donroseauctions.com/ui/auctions/90364.

Bidding begins Monday and runs until Nov. 14. Anyone is eligible to bid – individuals, businesses, or community groups. In addition to the items listed, winners will get front-row seats for family, friends, or co-workers and be treated to hot chocolate, coffee, donuts and other refreshments during the parade. Allo of the proceeds will go to the charitable foundation that organizes the Bowling Green Holiday Parade.

In addition to the online auction, the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce Foundation is also hosting a raffle to support this year’s parade. One winner will receive front-row seats at the parklet located in front of Flatlands Coffee and be treated to coffee, donuts and other refreshments during the parade. To enter, visit https://go.rallyup.com/holidayparade.

“We’re excited to help support the holiday parade and so grateful to have the support of Ohio Logistics, Don Rose Auction and Realty and the parklet owners,” Parklet Project member Rachel Phipps said. “Bowling Green is home to the largest holiday parade in Northwest Ohio, and it’s funded almost entirely by charitable donations. Hopefully this initiative helps boost the parade’s funding while also driving new customers into Bowling Green’s great downtown businesses.”

The Parklet Project is a fundraising effort launched in 2021 to help local businesses expand outdoor dining options during the pandemic. Participating businesses include SamB’s, Flatlands, Kabob It, Novel Blends, Juniper Brewing Company and Grounds for Thought.

The 67th Annual Bowling Green Community Holiday Parade is presented by the City of Bowling Green, Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce, Bowling Green State University and Wood County Hospital. WTOL-TV will broadcast the parade live again this year with Ryan Wichman as the announcer.

The parade will step off at 9:50 a.m. on Nov. 19.
