‘Magical Fun’ offered
First Christian Church, 875 Haskins Road, Bowling Green, is offering what it is called "Magical
Fun" on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. featuring Andrew Dyko and his magic show.  There will be door
prizes, snacks, games, a clown and balloon animals.  The public is invited to the free event.
Pastor to be installed
MILLBURY –  Members of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ have announced the installation of their
Pastor, Juli Bertalan, on Nov. 16 at 3 p.m. It is also Bertalan’s first anniversary at St. Peter’s. She
was ordained in June at her home church in Toledo. An open house will be given in her honor at St.
Peter’s, with area churches, friends and family invited.
Church to hold fundraiser
TONTOGANY – Calvary United Methodist Church in Tontogany will hold its annual fundraiser on Nov. 15 at
the American Legion Post, located at the corner of Tontogany and Kellogg Roads. This year the event will
include a "Quarter Mania" and auction. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the auction beginning at 6
p.m. There will be a sandwich, drink and snack menu available. Proceeds will be used for the church’s
"Growth Fund."
Pancakes served
GRAND RAPIDS – A free pancake breakfast will be served on Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m. at New Life
Community Wesleyan Church, 17659 Woodburn Avenue at Second Street, Grand Rapids.
Soup and salad lunch offered
The congregation of Hope Lutheran Church, 13507 Cloverdale Road, will host a soup and salad luncheon in
the fellowship hall Sunday from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Donations will benefit  the Bowling Green Christian
Food Pantry. The menu includes vegetable beef and ham and bean soups, chicken and sausage sandwiches,
along with a variety of salads and desserts.
Baked steak supper
McCLURE – The McClure United Methodist Church will have a baked steak supper next Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.
in the church fellowship hall. Carry-outs are available.
A free-will offering will be taken. The church is located on Ohio 65, just south of U.S. Route 6. This
will be the final supper of the year and will return on January 9.
Thanksgiving services
Any church holding programs or services for Thanksgiving should submit details by Nov. 19 to
