Muster returns to Fort Meigs

PERRYSBURG – See 10 centuries of history and witness the evolution of the common soldier, from Roman
Legionnaires to the modern American military, at "Muster on the Maumee" at Fort Meigs State
Park. The event runs June 20-21 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
Military re-enactors will portray soldiers from different time periods including Romans, Vikings, the
American Revolution, Civil War, troops from both World Wars, and Vietnam. Each time period will set up
period camps and give weapons demonstrations throughout the weekend.
Living historians, craftsmen, and artisans will demonstrate their skills and sell their wares in
"Sutler’s Row."
Listen to the music of long ago under our entertainment tent. The ever popular Father, Son and Friends
return this year to entertain you with traditional Irish and Scottish music. Other performers will play
portray famous characters in history, perform historic magic and provide you with entertainment from the
18th and 19th centuries.
