Sheriff’s office offers children’s safety workshop


The Wood County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a free children’s safety workshop on June 17, from 9
a.m. to noon for children ages 4 to 6.
Registration forms must be completed by Wednesday.
The workshop will be held at Otsego High School, 18505 Tontogany Road, Tontogany.
Participating with the sheriff’s office will be the Washington Township Fire Department, Northwest 190,
Otsego Schools bus transportation, Wood County Parks District, Ohio Department of Watercraft, Pro Medica
air ambulance, and several other Wood County law enforcement agencies.
Youth attending may bring their bicycles for free registration.
Forms are available at the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, 1960 E. Gypsy Lane Road; at the public libraries
in Grand Rapids and Weston; and at all Otsego school buildings. Forms also may be downloaded from, under press releases.
Completed forms may be mailed or dropped off at the office.
