Mud Hens win twice

NORFOLK, Va. – Brent Clevlen’s two-run home run in the first inning and a strong outing from Chris
Lambert helped Toledo defeat Norfolk, 4-1 in an International League game Sunday. The Mud Hens are 24-33
in the IL West.
Will Rhymes had two hits and an RBI for Toledo and Don Kelly had three hits and two runs scored.
Lambert went seven innings allowing one run on four hits with one walk and six strikeouts. Freddy Dolsi
pitched two innings of one-hit relief to get the save.
On Saturday, three Mud Hens pitchers combined on six-hit shutout. Scot Drucker went the first six innings
to get the win, Matt Rush pitched the seventh and Clay Rapada went the last two to earn the save. Brent
Dlugach’s solo home run in the fifth inning produced the only run of the game. Ryan Roberson was 3-for-4
for Toledo.
