MILLBURY – A free fishing derby for children ages 16 years and younger will be held July 19 at the Lake
Township Friendship Park pond, 27975 Cummings Road, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
There will be awards for most fish, biggest fish and smallest fish.
Participants should being a fishing pole. Worms will be supplied.
Early registration – so organizers know how many worms to purchase – is appreciated by mailing a
confirmation to Lake Township Administration Building, 27975 Cummings Road, Millbury, Ohio 43447.
There will be same-day registration, too, at the shelter house.
The event is sponsored by Friends of Lake Township Parks and North Toledo Sportsmen Club, in memory of
Wade Diefenthaler.
