Session on grief offeredWATERVILLE – First Presbyterian Church of Waterville, in conjunction with
Hospice of Northwest Ohio, will be hosting a one time, two-hour session about grief called, "Good
Grief: The First Step."This class provides participants a basic understanding of the experience of
grief and loss. The class will be on Nov. 14, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. in fellowship hall of First Presbyterian
Church, 611 Farnsworth Road, Waterville.Advance registration is required and can be made by calling Pastor

participants will consider spirituality through the mind of a person who has dementia. Cheryl Conley, MA,
LSW, Alzheimer’s Assn., will discuss the spirituality of caregivers, as well as others, who are ministering
to the person with memory loss.The goal of the presentation is to help pastors and lay leaders to understand
what God means to a person with dementia.She will also address various perceptions of God including God as a
guide or one who punishes people for doing wrong.Complimentary lunch will be served starting at
