Outdoor service slated
On Sunday First Presbyterian Church of Bowling Green will hold its annual outdoor worship in the church’s
"Presbyterian Park" across South Grove Street at 10 a.m. During the service 15 campers will be
commissioned as they leave for Camp Rejoice held at Kirkmont Camp near Xenia.
Following the service there will be a potluck picnic, with "Chef Larry Nader" tending the
grill.
All are invited to attend the worship and potluck. Those attending should bring a dish to share.
NB churches unite for VBS
NORTH BALTIMORE – Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist, Holy Family Catholic Church, and St.
James United Methodist Church, are uniting to sponsor the "Workshop of Wonders" Vacation Bible
School July 13-17. The sessions will be from 6-8:30 p.m. Organizers say they will offer fun, learning,
and adventure to those who attend. Each evening will include a light dinner, learning and crafts, music
and games. The closing program, open to all, will be at 8 p.m. July 17.
All the activities are being held at Good Shepherd (119 W. Broadway). Pre-registration is encouraged, but
not required.

Another VBS
DUNBRIDGE – Christ’s Bible Church, 11040 Middleton Pike, Dunbridge, is holding its Vacation Bible School
starting Wednesday. Additional days July 15-16, 22-23, each evening from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. The theme of
VBS is "Jungle Safari". The ages are 3 years old to sixth grade.
