Passover demonstration planned
First Baptist Church, 749 S, Wintergarden Road, will host "Messiah in the Passover," a
demonstration showing how Jesus fulfilled the ancient feast of Passover on March 30 at 5 p.m.
The program, conducted by Carole Bahm, begins with the traditional Passover Seder table, complete with
all the articles of the Jewish celebration.
Bahm will explain the symbolic meanings of the various items in the Passover feast and highlight their
relationship to the Last Supper that Jesus celebrated with the disciples.

Discipleship program set
Father Mark Davis, pastor of St. Aloysius Catholic Church is offering a program on discipleship on
Tuesday evening.
Davis will offer, "Knowing the Unknowable: Becoming True Disciples of Christ" at 7 p.m. in the
church. He indicates he will use magic ricks and jokes to have fun while exploring some deep issues,
including looking at Jesus’ mission to the church and its people to be and call others to be
"Disciples" (lifelong students).
Women A.C.T. to hold conference
TIFFIN – Women Acclaiming Christ Together (A.C.T.) is sponsoring a one-day interdenominational conference
for women of all ages. The "Under His Wings" program will feature Deborah Lovett from the
Dayton area as the speaker; Sarah Baumgardner, of Huron will hare her music ministry; while Raylene
Hlavaty, of Ashland will portray Fannie Crosby for the special feature of the day.
It will be held April 5 at Camden Falls Reception and Conference Center in Tiffin. Doors open at 8 a.m.

‘Feed the 5,000’
The Wood County Area Ministry is conducting a food drive during Lent up to and including through Easter.
Various food items are being collected and donated through the ministry and its various churches. Items
collected will be used to feed the poor.
Jericho Road concert planned at Petro
NORTH BALTIMORE – TGMA Gospel Music Promotions is hosting a "Jericho Road CD Release" concert
.at 6 p.m. March 29 at the Iron Skillet Restaurant, located at the Petro Truck Stop, 12900 Deshler Road,
North Baltimore.

Community Health Ministry focus on cardiovascular issues
Faith Community Health Ministry Program an educational seminar "The Faith Community Nurses Role in
Cardiovascular Disease: Prevention, Treatment and Support."
It will be held April 1 from 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. at Maumee United Methodist Church, 405 Sackett St.,
Maumee.
The fee is $65.
This conference is designed to bring together people of faith who are interested in supporting the
spiritual emotional and physical cardiovascular health of members of their congregation and their
community.

Financial program offered
Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University (FPU), a nine-week course which is promoted as providing
families and individuals with practical tools to gain control of their finances is being offered at
First Baptist Church, 749 S Wintergarden Road in Bowling Green.
The course meets once a week where a different lesson is taught by Ramsey on DVD followed by a
small-group discussion. Lessons include budgeting, relationships and money, getting out of debt, saving
for emergencies and investing.
