Bowling Green Ministerial Association sets schedule for its 2014 Lenten lunches

Bowling Green’s second annual Lenten Lunch Series will begin Wednesday and continue each Wednesday during
Lent.
There will be a soup and salad lunch prepared by a different church each week, a talk/conversation by a
community leader and time for fellowship, inspiration and prayer.
All six luncheons will be held from noon until 1 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 200 N. Summit
St., Bowling Green.
This year’s theme will be "God and the Human Lifescape."
The subject for Wednesday will be "God in the Numbers" presented by Dr. Robert Vincent,
professor emeritus of the BGSU Geology Department and a national leader in remote (satellite) sensing of
sensitive environmental issues.
Vincent was the expert commissioned by the BG City Council to bring the scientific report on the fracking
issue last year. He is an elder in First Presbyterian Church, Bowling Green. and co-founder and former
Director of OhioView, a remote sensing consortium of the 10 largest public research universities in the
state of Ohio.
Lunch will be provided by the First Presbyterian Church.
The luncheons are open to the public and sponsored by the Bowling Green Ministerial Association.
