| Flood waters from the Maumee River cover a playground at Mary Jane Thurston State Park and campground in Grand Rapids on Friday afternoon. A flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service for Grand Rapids Friday morning as rain showers which started Thursday continued for another day. The Portage River was also reported at flood stage. No rain is forecasted again for the region until Monday, which should give the high waters time to recede.
