BGSU gymnasts lose
KENT - Kent State slipped past the Bowling Green Falcon gymnastics team, 196.225-195.925 Thursday. BG's score was the fourth-highest in school history.
BG's leaders were: Amanda Lievendag, 9.925 on the bars, the third-best school in school history, and 9.875 on the vault; Alyssa Nocella and Megan Harrington, both 9.900 on the floor exercise; and Nocella and Gina Locigno, both 9.875 on the beam.
Nocella finished with a 39.350 all-around, the third-highest score in school history, and Locigno added a 39.300, which is tied for fourth-best ever.
BG is 7-7 overall and finished 4-2 in the Mid-American Conference.

Otsego baseball
to play at Fifth Third FIeld
TONTOGANY - Otsego's baseball team will play Napoleon April 19 at Field Third Field in a 7 p.m. start.
Vouchers, priced at $15, are good for admission to the Otsego game and any field level box seat to a 2014 Mud Hens game, excluding Opening Day and the playoffs.
Otsego receives $5 for each voucher sold.
Vouchers are available in the high school office from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. daily or by contacting any Otsego varsity baseball player.

Owens softball rained out
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - The Owens Community College softball doubleheader Thursday was rained out.
Owens has two games scheduled today in Myrtle Beach.
