NB boys sectional tickets on sale
NORTH BALTIMORE – North Baltimore will start selling tickets Friday for its boys sectional basketball
game
Advance tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students, and all tickets at the door are $6. The tickets
will be sold in the high school office during school hours.
The Eagles face Cardinal Stritch Wednesday in a 6:15 p.m. start at Eastwood High school.
BG youth baseball adds signup date
Bowling Green Youth Baseball has added an additional signup date Saturday from 10 a.m.-noon at the
Henschen Building at Carter Park.
Boys and girls ages 4-15 can signup.
Owens men win
PIQUA – Bikramjit Gil scored 24 points and added 11 rebounds to help the Owens Community College men’s
basketball team to a 105-70 win over Edison CC Wednesday.
It was the fourth straight double-double for Gil and his sixth in the last seven games.
Other leaders for Owens were: Markese Allen, 16 points, eight rebounds, eight assists; Edmond Early. 14
points; and Kenny Jones, 10 points, seven rebounds.
Owens, ranked No. 11, is 21-5 overall and 8-1 in the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference.
Express women win
PIQUA – Ashley Tunstall scored 20 points and had 14 rebounds to led Owens Community College women’s
basketball team to an 86-67 win over Edison CC Wednesday.
Other leaders for Owens were: Kamilah Carter, 16 points, seven assists; Paige Wright, 13 points, nine
rebounds, and eight assists; and Zhana Randolph, 10 points.
Owens, ranked No. 5, is 22-2 overall and 8-1 in the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference.
