Lake, Perrysburg boys in top 10
COLUMBUS – Lake and Perrysburg’s boys basketball teams are both ranked in the top 10 in their respective
divisions this week.
Lake is fourth in Division II with 130 points.
Perrysburg is ninth in Division I with 38 points.

Falcon hockey receives votes
Bowling Green is 25th with six points in this week’s U.S. College Hockey Online poll.
The Falcons, 13-10-5 overall and 10-7-3 in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association, were 25th with
seven points last week.

Falcon women receive votes
The Bowling Green State University women’s basketball team earned three points in the weekly Associated
Press poll.
The Falcons are ranked 36th.

Reed named BG men’s soccer assistant
Eric Reed has been an assistant coach for Bowling Green’s men’s soccer team, Falcon coach Eric Nichols
announced Monday.
Reed spent the last two seasons working with the goalkeepers at Davidson.
Reed has played for the Charlotte Eagles of the USL Pro League the last three seasons.
He was a finalist for the league’s goalkeeper of the award in both 2011 and ’13 and helped the Eagles to
the championship game in the latter year.
Reed attended UCLA, where he started at least 16 matches in each of his final three seasons. As a junior
in 2005, he earned All-Pacific Athletic Conference 10 first-team honors after leading the Bruins to the
conference title.
In his senior season of 2006, Reed recorded shutouts in three of five NCAA Tournament games, as UCLA
advanced to the championship match.
BG youth baseball meeting planned
The Bowling Green Pee Wee League will hold an organizational meeting Monday night at 6:30 in the Henschen
Building at Carter Park.
The league also needs coaches and voluneers.
