TOLEDO – Danny Worth was 3-for-4 and J.D. Martinez went 2-for-4 Tuesday to lead Toledo to an 8-6 win over
Indianapolis and a split of the International League doubleheader.
Indianapolis was a 6-4 winner in the first game.
Toledo relievers Jose Ortega and Justin Miller held Indianapolis scoreless over the final 2 2/3 innings.
They allowed two hits, striking out two and walking none.
In the first game, Martinez was 2-for-3 with a three-run home run and Mike Hessman added a solo homer.
