To the Editor: New Otsego principal glad he took the job

One year ago this week, I graciously accepted an offer to be the next principal at Otsego High School.
Today, I can honestly say that is one of the best decisions of my life. The Otsego community is simply
amazing. My family and I, have been overwhelmed with the amount of support shown by all of you and I am
thankful for such a student centered community.
I am also extremely lucky to be surrounded by so many exceptional students and staff. Our students work
very hard both academically and in their extracurricular activities. They are dedicated, passionate and
care about one another. The faculty and staff are also wonderful to work with. They have worked
incredibly hard this year under new state mandates and have contributed countless hours to make our
schools culture and climate one that supports the growth and achievement of all students and sets
challenging learning expectations.
I love walking through our doors each and every morning with these professionals and feel part of strong
family of educators dedicated to our students. I especially look forward to the opportunities in the
future that we will bring to the district to further advance and challenge our students.
Thank you all for your support and involvement with our high school. I am blessed to be a part of this
wonderful community and school system and I hope that we continue to work together for many years to
come and that we always strive to provide every opportunity possible for our children and never stop
believing in them. Our Students, Our Community, Our Success! #TheOtsegoWay.
